Label Materials & Embellishments

Because cosmetic and personal care items require a durable label, most labels are  printed on clear gloss, clear matte, or white polyolefins.

Many of these polyolefin films are very conformable, making them ideal for the irregularly shaped containers which are common in the cosmetics industry.

 

Matte Films Produce a “frosty” look

Clear Gloss produces a “no-label look” on clear, gloss finish containers, hence picking up the color of the contents as a background color (shampoos etc.).
